The employment rate shows the share of employed persons in the working-age population. The data are collected with the Labour Force Survey. An employed person is someone who worked during the reference period and was paid as a wage earner, entrepreneur or freelancer. Personal surveys

According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2022, there were 13,190 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 15% more than in the same quarter of 2021. Over 5,000 people left their jobs at the initiative of the employer.
