HICP flash estimate: prices down by 0.5% in November

According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, in November 2025, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists, decreased by 0.5% compared with October. Compared with November last year, the HICP rose by 4.7%. This is a flash estimate, which will be refined once more detailed data on November prices are received.

According to revised data of Statistics Estonia, in 2009 the Estonian general government sector deficit was 1.7% and gross debt level was 7.2% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). According to Statistics Estonia, in July compared to July of the previous year, exports grew by 32% and imports by 23% at current prices. Exports of machinery and equipment increased by 61% and imports by 69%.

Producer price indices increased in August

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2010 the producer price index of industrial output increased by 0.9% compared to July and by 4.6% compared to August of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2010 three quarters of Estonian population used computers and the internet.

The Agricultural Census survey begins today

According to Statistics Estonia, starting today, 15 September, interviewers from Statistics Estonia will begin visiting households included on the census list for the Agricultural Census. Interviews will take place with households belonging to private persons that did not take part in the 1-10 September e-Census.
