HICP flash estimate: prices up by 0.1% in May
According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, in May 2025, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists in Estonia, increased by 0.1% compared with April. Compared with May last year, the index rose by 4.6%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2015, the number of passengers served by Estonian transport enterprises remained on the same level but the freight volume in tonnes decreased by 13% compared to the previous year. Passenger traffic volume increased by 10% and freight turnover increased by 7% compared to 2014.

The annual change of the Dwelling Price Index was the smallest of the last five years
According to Statistics Estonia, the Dwelling Price Index increased by 6.9% in 2015 compared to the average of 2014. In the annual comparison, the prices of apartments increased by 7.2% and the prices of houses by 6.3%.

The producer price index of industrial output decreased in February
According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2016, the producer price index of industrial output changed by -2.3% compared to January 2016 and by -2.2% compared to February 2015.

The Government approved the statistical actions for the next five years
Today, on 17 March, the Government of the Republic approved the list of statistical actions for the years 2016–2020. In 2016, Statistics Estonia will organise 158 statistical actions, the cost of which is estimated at a total of 6.5 million euros.
