According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia and the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (ARIB), the utilised agricultural area this year is 983,400 hectares, which is 4,400 hectares less than in 2023. There has been a slight decrease in arable land, as well as in the area of fruit and berry plantations. Experts to assess the compliance of Statistics Estonia with the European Statistics Code of Practice

Compliance with the European Statistics Code of Practice is monitored though peer reviews. The next peer review in Estonia takes place on 6–10 September 2021.

The production of industrial enterprises increased again in June

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2021, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 11% year on year. Production increased in all three main industrial sectors: by 19% in mining, by 14% in energy production and by 10% in manufacturing.
