The big Estonian population e-census, which begins at the end of the year, is largely based on register data. For reliable census results, all Estonian residents are invited in the next few months to check and, if necessary, correct population register data concerning their education, ethnicity, place of residence and contacts.

There is no plan and it is not possible to use the data to analyse the movement of individuals.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the Estonian general government deficit was 0.3% and the gross debt level was 8% of the gross domestic product.
