According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2013, over half a million foreign and domestic tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which was 5% more than in the same period of the previous year. The number of both foreign and domestic tourists increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2013, 163,000 tourists stayed in the accommodation establishments of Estonia, which was 6% more than in January a year earlier. One third more tourists came from Russia than from Finland.

Statistics Estonia carried out the survey of Intrastat data providers in October 2014 to measure the administrative burden caused by Intrastat and the satisfaction of data providers. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011 compared to the previous year, the electricity production from renewable sources has increased by 13%. During the last five years the share of electricity generated from oil shale has decreased by nearly a tenth. At the same time the electricity production from renewable sources has increased eight times.

According to Statistics Estonia, the Agricultural Census is conducted in Estonia from 1 September to 15 November, in the course of which the data on agricultural production will be collected from nearly 30,000 holdings. For the first time it is possible to participate in the census also via Internet.
