According to Statistics Estonia, in August, exports of goods increased by 46% and imports by 40% year on year. Trade growth was significantly influenced by the increase in the exports and imports of mineral fuels and wood and articles of wood.
In 2017, exports of goods from Estonia totalled 12.9 billion euros and imports to Estonia 14.7 billion euros at current prices. Trade turnover increased for the second consecutive year, exports grew by 8%, or approximately 1 billion euros and imports grew by 9%, or 1.2 billion euros compared to 2016.
According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2012, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 6% compared to the same month of the previous year. The decline in the production was most of all influenced by the manufacturing of electronic and metal products and electricity.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2012, exports of goods from Estonia decreased by 8% at current prices and imports to Estonia remained on the same level compared to May of the previous year. A small decrease in exports was also influenced by the record high basis in May of the previous year. Compared to April this year, the trade increased in May.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June, exports of goods increased by 26% and imports by 45% year on year. In the second quarter as a whole, exports grew by 41% and imports by 49% year on year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2013, exports of goods grew by 19% and imports by 16% at current prices compared to January of the previous year. Foreign trade was influenced by the non-recurrent big-volumed trade transactions with transport equipment.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2012, exports from Estonia amounted to 1.15 billion euros and imports to Estonia to 1.14 billion euros at current prices. The surplus was registered in trade as exports were bigger than imports by 15 million euros.
