Tree of Truth now tracks the progress of the new Government Action Plan

Starting from today, 12 April, the Tree of Truth application of Statistics Estonia displays the indicators of the new Government Action Plan for 2021–2023 together with target levels applicable until the end of the government’s term in office.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, there were 82,500 amateurs of folk culture in Estonia. 59,000 of them sang in choirs or danced in folk dance groups. The most folk culture amateurs per thousand inhabitants were in Võru county and the least in Ida-Viru county.

The increase in the consumer price index in January was 0.8% compared with December 2022 and 18.6% compared with January 2022. Goods were 19.0% and services 17.8% more expensive than in January last year.
Statistics Estonia: Enumerators will start visiting people from 16 February

The enumerators will visit people in the Population and Housing Census starting at the end of the year only during the period 16.02 – 31.03.2012 and present their employment certificate with a photo issued by Statistics Estonia. According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2019 compared to December 2018, the change of the consumer price index was –0.2% and compared to January of the previous year, 2.7%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2019, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 7.9% compared to the 1st quarter of 2018. In the 1st quarter of 2019, the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 7.90 euros, which is 7% more than in the 1st quarter of 2018.
