Today, President Kersti Kaljulaid visited Statistics Estonia to learn about the opportunities to use big data and experimental statistics to produce official statistics and improve the physical and social environment of Estonian people.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2020, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,404 euros, which is 4.8% higher than the year before. In quarterly comparison, the increase is the most modest in recent years.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 977 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.89 euros. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2013, the average monthly gross wages increased by 5.0% and the average hourly gross wages by 5.6%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,082 euros. Compared to the 1st quarter, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 7.1%, and compared to the 2nd quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 5.8%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2018, the total profit of the business sector was 871 million euros, which is 21% more than in the same period the year before.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2013, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 949 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.73 euros. Compared to 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased 7.0% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries increased 7.3%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2019, domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in accommodation establishments numbered 208,000, which is 1% more than in January 2018. Compared to January 2018, the number of domestic tourists increased and the number of foreign tourists decreased.
According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2019, a total of 262,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which is 5% more than in April 2018. Compared to the same time, there were more domestic and foreign tourists.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2016 the total profit of the business sector was 2.7 billion euros, which was 10% less than the year before. The business sector’s total profit decreased for second year in a row.
