Yesterday, on 3 November the competition for enumerator’s post came to an end. As total, over 6,600 persons wish to become an enumerator in different regions of Estonia.
Today, on 31 March, Statistics Estonia holds a meeting with the representatives of chief and authorised processors of registers and databases. The participants will discuss how well the registers are prepared for the register-based population and housing census in 2020/2021.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 4th quarter of 2009 less than half of the population in age group 15–74 coped well in economic terms, two years earlier the respective figure was 60%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2010 compared to May of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased 5% at constant prices.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2015, exports of goods decreased by 10% and imports by 9% compared to September of the previous year. Summing up the first three quarters of 2015, exports decreased 3% and imports 5% compared to the same period a year ago.
Statistics Estonia presents today, on 26 July, the publication "Eesti statistika aastaraamat 2013. Statistical Yearbook of Estonia", which provides an overview of the life in Estonia last year in comparison with earlier years and in other European Union countries.
According to Statistics Estonia, the consumer price index decreased by 0.9% in August 2009 compared to August of the previous year and was 0.0% compared to July 2009.
