According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the production of milk amounted to 791,800 tonnes in 2017, which is 1% more than the year before. The number of dairy cows increased slightly by the end of the year and also the average annual milk production per cow increased.

If during the last eight months the production grew around 30%, then in May the growth of industrial production slightly slowed down compared to May of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011 the production of industrial enterprises grew 18% compared to the previous year. The growth of production was mainly influenced by the external demand, but the domestic demand also increased continually during the year.
