According to Statistics Estonia, the percentage change of the consumer price index in March 2009 compared to February was -0.5% and compared to March 2008 was 2.0%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2021, the construction price index increased by 5.2% compared to the first quarter and by 6.2% compared to the second quarter of 2020.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, life expectancy at birth was 73.9 years for males and 82.4 years for females. Life expectancy has increased for both sexes, slightly more for males. Men are expected to live disability-free for 52.8 and women for 55.6 years. Just a year ago, disability-free life expectancy for males was two years longer and for females over three years longer.
According to the final results of the 2013 Farm Structure Survey, there were 19,200 agricultural holdings in Estonia, of which nearly 1,000 largest ones produce more than three-quarters of standard output, announces Statistics Estonia. At the same time, there are 4,500 agricultural holdings which do not produce agricultural products but only maintain their lands in good agricultural and environmental condition.
According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in January 2017 was 0.4% compared to December 2016 and 2.7% compared to January of the previous year.
Tomorrow, on 5 March starts the second phase of the pilot Census of 2011 Population and Housing Census (PHC 2011), in the course of which the enumerators of Statistics Estonia will visit those people living in the pilot Census areas who did not participate in e-census.
