According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in March 2015 was 0.6% compared to February 2015 and -0.6% compared to March of the previous year.
Statistics Estonia concluded agreements with Telia, Tele2 and Elisa to restart mobility analysis. The goal of the planned mobility analysis is to help the government evaluate the impact of the adopted COVID-19 countermeasures on the movement of people, assess change in the risk of infection and effectively plan communication in Estonian regions. Mobility will be analysed using the same methodology as in last spring.
According to Statistics Estonia, at midnight the e-census of the pilot Census of PHC 2011 came to an end. In the course of e-census, 5497 persons were enumerated via Internet. In March the pilot Census will be continued with face-to-face interviews, when the interviewers of Statistics Estonia visit the inhabitants who did not participate in e-census.
Today, a team from Statistics Estonia met with the census committee of the Estonian Government to present the questionnaire of the Population and Housing Census 2021 and discuss the current state of the project. The exact census methodology will be decided once the allocation of additional funds from the government reserves for 2021 and from the 2022 state budget has been confirmed.

Compared with 2021, the share of people living at risk of poverty decreased by 0.3 percentage points and the share of people living in absolute poverty increased by 2.1 percentage points.

According to Statistics Estonia, by the data of the last, 2000 Population Census, five bigger ethnic groups and over a hundred representatives of various ethnic nationalities live in Estonia.
Today, on 20 October the World Statistics Day is celebrated for the first time under the auspices of the United Nations. Statistics Estonia organises a conference “Estonian Statistics in Focus” for this occasion.
