According to the flash estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 2.1% in the 3rd quarter of 2014 compared to the 3rd quarter of 2013.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September, Estonia’s exports of goods amounted to almost 1.5 billion and imports to nearly 1.7 billion euros. Compared with the same month in 2022, exports of goods decreased by 24% and imports by 22% at current prices. The trade deficit in September was 207 million euros, which is 13 million euros more than in September last year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2015, the producer price index of industrial output changed by -0.3% compared to October 2015 and by -1.7% compared to November 2014.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that there was a marked decline in trade in goods in the first quarter of 2024, as exports were down by 16% and imports by 11%. “In the third quarter, imports were unchanged and there was a slight uptrend in exports. The positive trend was even more noticeable in the fourth quarter, with exports increasing by 6% and imports by 7%,” explained Leppmets. If only the Estonian construction market is considered, the construction volumes decreased 2%.
