According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2016, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 5% compared to March of the previous year. Production decreased in the energy sector, mining and quarrying, and manufacturing.

In January the industrial production reached the level of January of the previous year

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2010 the production of industrial enterprises was equal to the production in January of the previous year. The growth in the energy production was the main factor causing the increase in the production, which had been declining since the respective month of the previous year, because the production of manufacturing decreased in comparison with January of the previous year.

From 2025 onwards, Statistics Estonia will no longer update short-term labour market statistics. The publication of short-term labour market statistics was based on a commissioning contract and the contract expired in 2024. They show changes in the number of employment relationships: how many were started, suspended or terminated. There is also a time series of the changes in these indicators. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010 the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 3.1% compared to the previous year. The GDP began to grow compared to the previous year gradually since the 2nd quarter and in the 4th quarter the GDP increased by 6.7% according to the first estimates.
