According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in September 2019 was -0.2% compared to August 2019 and 2.2% compared to September of the previous year.

Statistics Estonia has announced a competition for engaging 25 personnel specialists who will conduct the recruitment of the Census employees this autumn and winter. For conducting the 2011 Population and Housing Census, over 2,400 Census employees must be recruited.

District centres in nine cities all over Estonia will commence work in August; the deadline of applying for the post is 5 June.
