According to Statistics Estonia, in the academic year 2020/2021, international students and graduates in Estonia paid more than ever before in labour taxes: a total of 16 million euros. At the same time, the number of international students was smaller, while the number of international graduates continued to rise. International students and graduates were most likely to work in information and communication as well as in education. Compared to local students, they worked more often in start-up enterprises.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were about 11,000 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 3rd quarter of 2016. The number of job vacancies reached a 7-year high, having increased by 16% compared to the previous quarter and by 25% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2015.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were over 11,200 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2017. This is the highest number of job vacancies in the past 8 years. While in the previous quarter, the number of job vacancies reached slightly above 9,000, in the 1st quarter, the number of job vacancies increased by 24%.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were nearly 2.5 million museum visits in Estonia in 2022. Museum attendance has increased compared with the previous years but is still below the pre-pandemic level.
