According to Statistics Estonia, 335,000 tourists or 6% more than in the same month of the previous year stayed in accommodation establishments in June. The number of both domestic and foreign tourists increased.
According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 8.5% in the 3rd quarter of 2011 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. During the three quarters this year economic the growth has been stably robust.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2009 63% of Estonian households had access to the Internet at home, compared to the same period of the previous year this indicator has increased five percentage points. Almost all enterprises with 10 and more persons employed had access to the Internet as in the previous three years.
According to Statistics Estonia, in March exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 9.7 billion kroons at current prices and imports to Estonia to 12.5 billion kroons. Compared to March of the previous year, exports and imports increased in all main commodity sections.
Yesterday, on 3 November the competition for enumerator’s post came to an end. As total, over 6,600 persons wish to become an enumerator in different regions of Estonia.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2012, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 4% compared to the same month of the previous year. The main reason for causing the decline was the decrease in energy and mining production.
On 12 and 13 November, the conference "Demographic Processes in the Baltic Sea Region in the 21st Century", organised by Statistics Estonia and the Estonian Statistical Society, takes place at the National Library of Estonia.
