The producer price index of industrial output expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for exports. Statistics Estonia updates the weights system of the producer price index of industrial output and the base prices used for its calculation every year. According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2015 compared to August of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 8% at constant prices. The preparation of analytical output using anonymous data from electronic communications, with the purpose to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which was assigned to Statistics Estonia by the order of the crisis commission of the Government of the Republic, will not be based on real-time data. There is no plan and it is not possible to use the data to analyse the movement of individuals.
