In the 3rd quarter, the rise in average wages and salaries continued to decelerate

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2016, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,119 euros. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased 7.1%. The year-over-year growth in average monthly gross wages and salaries was slightly slower than in the previous quarter.

This year the growth of production has mainly influenced by the increase in external demand, since domestic market has slightly livened up only during the last months.
