According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2022, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad decreased by 3% year on year at constant prices. Considering only the domestic market, the construction volume fell by 4%.

From 2023 onwards, there will be changes to the questionnaire “Wages and salaries and labour force” (1462). The changes are related to the increased use of register data in the production of wage statistics. The data collected with the questionnaire will be used to produce labour cost indices and job vacancy statistics. Previously (until the end of 2022), this questionnaire was also used to collect data for average wage statistics. According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2014, the Dwelling Price Index changed by 4.8% compared to the 4th quarter of 2013 and by 17.5% compared to the 1st quarter of the previous year.
