According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2015, exports of goods decreased by 12% and imports by 13% compared to October of the previous year. The decrease in exports and imports was mostly influenced by a decrease in the trade of mineral products and electrical equipment.
According to Statistics Estonia, there were more than 7,000 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2012. The number of job vacancies increased nearly one fifth compared to the same period last year. The rate of job vacancies was 1.3%.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2010, exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 13.2 billion kroons (841 million euros) and imports to Estonia totalled 13.5 billion kroons (860 million euros) at current prices. The turnover of exports was on a similar level last in October 2008.

Exports and imports decreased for two months in succession, in February the trade decreased by 2% in both flows compared to the same month of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, the data from the innovation survey show that 48% of enterprises covered with the survey were technologically innovative in 2008 and 35% of them had implemented during the last three years organisational or marketing innovation. For a quarter of enterprises the innovativeness resulted in environmental benefits either within enterprise or for customer.
According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2009 compared to May of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 30%. The steep decline in industrial production that had started at the end of the previous year continued in May.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2016, the exports of goods increased by 13% and imports by 2% compared to September of the previous year. In the third quarter as a whole exports grew 7%.
