In trade with non-EU countries, exports declined by 10% while imports grew by 16%. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, more than 3 million domestic and foreign tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which is 7% more than in 2015. The number of both foreign and domestic tourists increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2023, Estonia’s exports and imports of goods decreased by 15% and 12%, respectively, compared with March 2022. In the first quarter as a whole, both exports and imports of goods fell by 8%.
