According to Statistics Estonia, 394,000 tourists used the services of accommodation establishments in August 2015, which was 4% more than in August 2014. The number of both foreign and domestic tourists increased.
According to Statistics Estonia, unemployed persons numbered 47,000 and the unemployment rate was 6.9% in the 2nd quarter of 2014. Employment increased compared to the 1st quarter, but decreased compared to the same quarter of the previous year. This shows that Estonia is gradually facing the consequences of declining labour force.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 11.3 billion kroons (721 million euros) and imports to Estonia to 12.5 billion kroons (800 million euros) at current prices. Compared to May 2009, exports increased in the dispatches of all commodity sections, especially in the dispatches of metals and products thereof.
According to Statistics Estonia, in March exports of goods from Estonia at current prices declined by one fifth and imports to Estonia by one third compared to March of the previous year. The decline in both exports and imports slowed down.
According to Statistics Estonia, unemployed persons numbered 59,000 and the unemployment rate was 8.7% in the 4th quarter of 2013. Although the annual average unemployment rate was lower than in 2012, the decline of unemployment has slowed down.
According to Statistics Estonia, on the basis of the first estimates of 2010 Agricultural Census the number of agricultural holdings has decreased almost three times as compared to the last, 2001 Agricultural Census. At the same time the agricultural area has increased 8%. It shows that agricultural activity is concentrating more and more into larger holdings.

For the first time since 2010, the number of unemployed persons decreased compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
