Johanna Linda Pihlak, analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that while turnover volume in June increased by 5% year on year, growth slowed down to 1% in July. “Year on year, turnover volume grew by 10% in enterprises engaged in the retail sale of automotive fuel and by 3% in stores selling manufactured goods. The turnover volume of grocery stores continued to decline in July, falling by 5% compared with July 2024,” Pihlak added. According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 855 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.21 euros. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2011, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased 5.7% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries increased 8.1%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2009 exports of goods from Estonia at current prices totalled 9.3 billion kroons and imports to Estonia amounted to 10.2 billion kroons. Machinery and equipment held the biggest share in exports and oil products in imports.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was 0.3% in August 2011 compared to July and 5.5% compared to August of the previous year.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in June 2009 exports of goods from Estonia amounted to 9.4 billion kroons and imports to Estonia 10.1 billion kroons at current prices.
