In trade with non-EU countries, exports declined by 10% while imports grew by 16%. Year on year, there were decreased exports from Estonia to the United States, Russia and Singapore, and increased imports from Turkey and Switzerland,” explained Leppmets. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 2% compared to the previous year. Production increased only in manufacturing, by 2%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises were 5 billion kroons, which was 11% smaller at constant prices compared to June of the previous year. The decline in retail sales which had stood within the limits of 14–16% during the recent months slowed down to some extent in June.
