According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2013 the total profit of the business sector was 945 million euros, which was 5% more than in the same period a year earlier.
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2011 the total profit of the business sector was 2.8 billion euros, which is 40% more than the year before. The enterprises last earned a similar total profit in 2006 and 2008.
According to Statistics Estonia, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased in February 2010 compared to January this year as well as compared to February of the previous year.

According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2008 the production of milk and meat increased and the production of eggs decreased compared to the previous year. Animal production has been relatively stable during the last five years.
