Exports of services grew by 4% in the first quarter

In the first quarter, the balance of foreign trade in services was in surplus by 765 million euros. The surplus increased by 114 million euros compared with the first quarter of 2025. In June, Statistics Estonia’s electronic data collection channel eSTAT was upgraded with a long-awaited and more consumer-friendly user interface. Data submission in the upgraded environment is easier and the channel itself is more user-friendly.

What kind of survey is it? The internet use and digital skills survey assesses how and for what purpose people in Estonia use computers and the internet. Who commissions the survey? The internet use and digital skills survey is conducted using the questionnaire and harmonised methodology developed by Eurostat, which ensures comparability of the results for different European Union (EU) countries. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, aquaculture enterprises sold 944 tonnes of commercial fish and crayfish, with a total value of 4.2 million euros. The volume of aquaculture production sold in 2018 was highest in the last twenty five years.
