Statistical thresholds In 2025, the statistical threshold for the dispatches of goods is 350,000 euros (last year, it was the same). According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2014, exports of goods increased by 1% and imports by 4% at current prices compared to March of the previous year. Foreign trade had declined for nine consecutive months compared to the same month of the previous year, but in March foreign trade increased.

In October, trade increased

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2017, the exports and imports of goods increased both by 11% compared to October 2016. This year Finland has been the most important trade partner for Estonia. In October, exports to Finland increased by 18% and imports from Finland by 15%.

Growth of industrial production came to a halt in June

According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 0.4% at constant prices compared with June 2021. Output increased in two of the three sectors – by 18.4 in electricity production and by 28.9% in mining –, but fell by 2.5 in manufacturing.

In November 2017, trade increased

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2017 compared to November 2016, the exports of goods increased by 8% and imports by 9%. The growth in exports and imports was broad-based, a small increase occurred in most commodity sections.
