According to Statistics Estonia, there were nearly 9,000 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2016. Compared to the 3rd quarter, when the number of job vacancies reached a 7-year high, in the 4th quarter, the number of job vacancies decreased by 18%. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2015, the number of job vacancies increased by 37%.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were 7,200 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 4th quarter of 2014. The number of job vacancies decreased by 15.9% compared to the previous quarter and increased by 13.6% compared to the 4th quarter of 2013.

The preparation of analytical output using anonymous data from electronic communications, with the purpose to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which was assigned to Statistics Estonia by the order of the crisis commission of the Government of the Republic, will not be based on real-time data.
