Eveli Šokman, team lead of producer price statistics at Statistics Estonia, said that, year on year, the producer price index rose for the second month in a row. “The rise has been of roughly the same magnitude, standing at 0.5% in September and 0.6% in October,” noted Šokman. According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,010 euros. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 4.5%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,045 euros. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2014, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 6.9%, and compared to the 2nd quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries decreased by 3.4%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2013, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 930 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 5.58 euros. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2012, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased 8.8% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries increased 7.1%.
