The enumerators will visit people in the Population and Housing Census starting at the end of the year only during the period 16.02 – 31.03.2012 and present their employment certificate with a photo issued by Statistics Estonia. Statistics Estonia presents today, on 29 July, the publication “Eesti statistika aastaraamat. 2011. Statistical Yearbook of Estonia“, which gives an overview of the life in Estonia last year in comparison with earlier years and other European Union countries.

According to Statistics Estonia, the unemployment rate was 6.5% and the employment rate was 64.1% in the 1st quarter of 2016. There were no major changes compared to the 1st quarter of the previous year.
