In October, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for exports, was at the same level as in September. Compared to October 2019, the producer price index decreased by 1.9%.

In October 2021, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, decreased by 0.1% compared to September 2021 and increased by 19.0% compared to October 2020.

In September 2019, the producer price index of industrial output fell by 0.1% compared to August 2019 and by 1.0% compared to September 2018.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2020, there were 8,689 vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 27% less than in the third quarter of 2019. The biggest labour turnover was recorded in wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing, and education.

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2024, exports of goods increased by 3% and imports by 6% compared with April 2023. Exports of goods amounted to more than €1.5 billion and imports to over €1.8 billion at current prices. The trade deficit was €305 million, which is €65 million more than in April last year.
