According to Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia grew 4.2% in the 3rd quarter of 2019 compared to the same period of the previous year. The Estonian GDP was 7 billion euros at current prices.

Construction volume increased due to the work done in foreign countries. On the Estonian construction market, construction volume decreased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2019, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 7.9% compared to the 1st quarter of 2018. In the 1st quarter of 2019, the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 7.90 euros, which is 7% more than in the 1st quarter of 2018.
