When we consider migration in current population as of 1 January 2008 we will get 16,000 people less. It is not one year emigration but eight years’ process where emigration has been bigger than immigration.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2011, the production of industrial enterprises grew 6% compared to the same month of the previous year. The slowdown in production was most of all influenced by the manufacturing of electronic products.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2010 the production of industrial enterprises grew 35% compared to November of the previous year. The growth of production has been mainly influenced by the increase in external demand as previously, but the domestic demand is also increasing continually.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2012, exports of goods from Estonia increased by 7% at current prices and imports to Estonia by 14% compared to June of the previous year. Faster growth in imports compared to exports increased also the trade deficit.
