According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2011 the total profit of the business sector was 2.8 billion euros, which is 40% more than the year before. The enterprises last earned a similar total profit in 2006 and 2008.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2010, 30,979 purchase-sale transactions of real estate in the total value of 1.2 billion euros (18.8 billion kroons) were notarised. Compared to the previous year, both the total number as well as total value of purchase-sale transactions increased. However, the average value of a purchase-sale transaction remained lower.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2015, the number of passengers served by Estonian transport enterprises remained on the same level but the freight volume in tonnes decreased by 13% compared to the previous year.
