According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in April 2010 compared to April of the previous year, exports of goods grew by 35% and imports by 16% at current prices. The growth in exports was last registered as big in June 2006.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2012 the production of electricity totalled nearly 12 TWh, which is 7% less than in 2011. The electricity production from renewable sources has increased by about a fourth.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2009, 6,500 purchase-sale transactions of real estate were carried out. Compared to the 2nd quarter 2008 the number of purchase-sale transactions decreased by one third, and compared to the previous quarter increased by one fifth.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2015, exports of goods decreased by 6% and imports decreased by 10% compared to May of the previous year. The biggest decrease occurred in the exports and imports of agricultural products and food preparations, mechanical appliances and mineral products.
The OECD expert group will visit Estonia

From 16–18 June the expert group of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will be visiting Statistics Estonia in order to elaborate the report estimating the ability of Estonia to meet the statistical requirements for joining the OECD.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2009 compared to the same period of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises decreased 29%. In the 1st quarter of the present year the production was 31% and in the 2nd quarter 28% smaller than a year ago.
In the 2nd quarter, the number of job vacancies increased

According to Statistics Estonia, there were 8,500 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 2nd quarter of 2015. The number of job vacancies increased by 16.5% compared to the previous quarter and by 11.0% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2014.
General government balance back in surplus

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2014, the Estonian general government surplus was 0.6% and the gross debt level was 10.6% of the gross domestic product.
