According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia and the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (ARIB), the utilised agricultural area this year is 983,400 hectares, which is 4,400 hectares less than in 2023. In the 3rd quarter, the growth of average wages and salaries accelerated

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2018, the average monthly gross wages and salaries of enterprises, institutions and organisations were 1,291 euros, having increased by 7.5% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2017. The year-on-year growth in average monthly gross wages and salaries was 1.1 percentage points faster than in the previous quarter.

The profit of the business sector increased in the 3rd quarter

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2018, the total profit of the business sector was 871 million euros, which is 21% more than in the same period the year before.

Construction volume increased in the 3rd quarter
