According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2019, the change in the producer price index of industrial output was –0.5% compared to January 2019 and 0.6% compared to February 2018.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, on 1 January 2021, the population of Estonia was 1,329,460 persons, which is 480 persons more than at the same time a year ago. Population decreased by 2,590 persons due to negative natural increase and increased by 3,070 persons as a result of positive net migration.
Less than half of enterprises submitted EKOMAR in time

This year, for the first time, Statistics Estonia distributed the deadlines of the EKOMAR questionnaire over a longer period and, depending on the economic activity of the enterprise, the deadline fell in the period of 1–8 July. Out of the 8,000 enterprises that were to submit the questionnaire, 44% submitted EKOMAR in time.

According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 8.5% in the 3rd quarter of 2011 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. During the three quarters this year economic the growth has been stably robust.
Production volumes fell in more than a half of manufacturing activities

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2020, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 2% compared to November 2019. In the three main industrial sectors, production fell by 1% in manufacturing and by 12% in energy production, but grew by 2% in mining.
Unemployment decreased in the 2nd quarter

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2011, the unemployed persons numbered 92,000 and the unemployment rate was 13.3%. Nearly a third of the unemployed have been without work for two years or more.
General government deficit decreased last year
