According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in December 2018 was -0.3% compared to November 2018 and 3.4% compared to December 2017.
According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in October 2018 was 0.5% compared to September 2018 and 4.4% compared to October of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2022, the consumer price index increased by 3.6% compared to March 2022, and by 18.8% compared to April 2021. Goods were 14.4% and services 27.8% more expensive than in April last year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2017, the unemployment rate was 5.6%, the employment rate 66.3% and the labour force participation rate 70.2%. The labour force participation rate reached a record level in comparison with the 1st quarters of previous years.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, compared to 2017, the number of passengers on the main scheduled domestic ship lines increased by 3%, but the number of international traffic passengers served by Estonian ports decreased by 1%. The freight volume of ports in tonnes increased by around 3%.
This week, 6–10 September 2021, external experts will be visiting the Tallinn office of Statistics Estonia. The experts will evaluate the production of official statistics in Estonia against the quality requirements of Eurostat (the statistical office of the European Union) and against the European Statistics Code of Practice.
