According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2011 the production of industrial enterprises grew 32% compared to April of the previous year. The production showed a 30% growth for the eighth month in succession compared to the same month of the previous year.
According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the number of dairy cows did not change significantly in 2010 compared to the previous year, but milk production per cow increased substantially.

The growth in the energy production was the main factor causing the increase in the production, which had been declining since the respective month of the previous year, because the production of manufacturing decreased in comparison with January of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2013, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 8% compared to July of the previous year. The growth in the production was most of all influenced by the manufacture of electronic products, and production of electricity and peat.
