According to Statistics Estonia, the Estonian general government sector surplused in the 3rd quarter 2009 by 1.4 billion kroons. The consolidated gross debt level rose up to 13.8 billion kroons.
According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2009 the Estonian general government sector deficit was 1.7% and gross debt level was 7.2% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In the 4th quarter the Estonian general government sector surplus was 4.3 billion kroons.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2011 the ratio of research and development expenditures to the gross domestic product rose upon a novel level – 2.41%, surpassing for the first time the EU mean of 2.03%.
According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2010, the Estonian general government sector surplus was 0.1% and gross debt level was 6.6% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Statistics Estonia’s call to notify of double data collection elicited 54 proposals. Complete or partial re-requesting for data was identified in the case of four questionnaires.
