The producer price index of industrial output increased in October
In October, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by an increase in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, and in the manufacture of fuel oils but also by a decrease in prices in the manufacture of electronic equipment and wood products.
Compared to October 2015, the producer price index was more than average influenced by an increase in prices in the manufacture of fuel oils and electronic equipment, but also by a decrease in prices in mining and quarrying.

In October 2016, the export price index changed by 1.7% compared to September 2016 and by 2.6% compared to October 2015.
In October, compared to the previous month, the prices of oil products, electricity and agricultural products increased more than average, while the prices of peat products, parts and accessories for motor vehicles and wood products decreased more than average.
In October 2016, the import price index changed by 1.1% compared to September 2016 and by 0.9% compared to October 2015.
In October, compared to the previous month, the prices of electricity, oil products and chemical products increased more than average, while the prices of paper products, agricultural products and other manufacturing products decreased more than average.
The statistics are based on the questionnaires “Producer price”, ”Export price” and “Import price”, the deadline of which was 6 November 2016.
