The construction price index continued to rise in the 1st quarter
Compared to the 4th quarter of 2014, the index was mainly shaped by the increase in the cost of labour. The cost of materials remained at the same level, and the cost of using machines fell by 0.1%.
In the 1st quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the construction price index was influenced by the decrease in material costs and the increase in labour costs, which balanced each other out.
The repair and reconstruction work price index grew 0.1% in the 1st quarter of 2015 compared to both the 4th quarter and the 1st quarter of 2014.
The calculation of the construction price index covers four groups of buildings: detached houses, blocks of flats, industrial buildings and office buildings.
