Producer price index of industrial output did not change in September compared to the previous month

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2011, the change in producer price index of industrial output was 0.0% compared to August and 3.7% compared to September of the previous year.

In September compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the production of steam and hot water for heating and in the manufacture of beverages as well as by the decrease in prices in the production of metal products.

Compared to September 2010, the index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the production of food products and refined petroleum products as well as by the decrease in prices in the production of computer and electronic products.

In September 2011 the export price index changed by -0.1% compared to August 2011 and by 9.1% compared to September of the previous year.

In September compared to the previous month, the prices of mineral fuels, peat products and electronic equipment decreased more than average, and the prices of wearing apparel and chemical products increased more than average.

In September 2011 the import price index changed by -0.2% compared to August 2011 and by 11.6% compared to September of the previous year.

In September compared to the previous month, the prices of mineral fuels and textile products decreased more than average, and the prices of agricultural products, wearing apparel and leather products increased more than average.
