According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 1.6% compared to 2015. In the 4th quarter of 2016, the Estonian economy grew 2.7% compared to the 4th quarter of 2015.

The results of the enterprise survey showed that more than half of the companies using the internet use paid cloud services.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, aquaculture enterprises sold 868 tonnes of commercial fish and crayfish, with a total value of 3.7 million euros. The volume of aquaculture production sold in 2016 was among the highest in 20 years.
