According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2010 the production of industrial enterprises grew 31% compared to September of the previous year. This year the growth of production has mainly influenced by the increase in external demand, since domestic market has slightly livened up only during the last months.
According to the first estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia decreased by 16.1% in the 2nd quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The GDP decreased successively for six quarters.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2009 compared to June of the previous year, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 30%. The steep decline in industrial production that had started at the end of the previous year continued in June.
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2011, the production of industrial enterprises grew 6% compared to the same month of the previous year. The slowdown in production was most of all influenced by the manufacturing of electronic products.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2009 the percentage change of the construction price index was -8.8% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2008. The construction price index fell for the second quarter in succession compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2010 the production of industrial enterprises grew 35% compared to November of the previous year. The growth of production has been mainly influenced by the increase in external demand as previously, but the domestic demand is also increasing continually.
