Statistics Estonia presents today, on 27 July, the publication "Eesti statistika aastaraamat 2012. Statistical Yearbook of Estonia", which provides an overview of the life in Estonia last year in comparison with earlier years and in other European Union countries.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2013 the total profit of the business sector was 801 million euros, which was 5% less than in the same period a year earlier.

According to adjusted data of Statistics Estonia, the Estonian general government sector deficit in 2008 was 2.7% and gross debt level was 4.6% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). General government budget’s deficit remained within the limits set out in the Maastricht Treaty.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2013 the total profit of the business sector was 647 million euros, which was 3% more than in the same period a year earlier. If the year ago the increase of enterprise sector’s total profit was on average 7% then in the 1st quarter this year the growth slowed down.
