According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, life expectancy at birth was 74.4 years for males and 82.8 years for females. Life expectancy has increased for both sexes, slightly more for males. Men are expected to live disability-free for 54.1 and women for 57.6 years.

Last year exports of goods exceeded the highest level so far (the level of 2008) where the turnover of exports amounted to 8.47 billion euros.
According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2010 compared to May of the previous year, exports of goods grew by 39% and imports by 47% at current prices. In May the growth in exports and imports was the biggest of this year.
