Statistics Estonia presents today, on 29 July, the publication “Eesti statistika aastaraamat. 2011. Statistical Yearbook of Estonia“, which gives an overview of the life in Estonia last year in comparison with earlier years and other European Union countries.
According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2015, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 1% compared to March of the previous year. Production increased in manufacturing, but decreased in mining and energy production.
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2014 compared to December 2013, the change of the consumer price index was 0.4%, and 1.1% when compared to January of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, the consumer price index increased 5.2% in March 2011 compared to March of the previous year and 0.8% compared to February this year.
According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was 5.7% in February 2011 compared to February of the previous year and 0.6% compared to January 2011.
According to Statistics Estonia, the consumer price index decreased by 0.9% in August 2009 compared to August of the previous year and was 0.0% compared to July 2009.
According to Statistics Estonia, 148,000 foreign tourists and 80,000 domestic tourists used the services of accommodation establishments in October 2013. The total number of tourists increased 4% compared to October of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, the unemployment rate was 8.0% in the 3rd quarter of 2013. The number of the long-term unemployed decreased remarkably.
According to the second estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 1.0% in the 2nd quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.
